Key Requirements for WHMIS Workplace Labels in Canada

  Understanding the correct labeling requirements under WHMIS 2015 is critical for maintaining chemical safety in any Canadian workplace. Labels provide essential information to help workers handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with federal and provincial regulations. While supplier labels are attached to hazardous products upon purchase, it’s the employer’s responsibility to ensure that a proper  WHMIS workplace label  is applied if the product is transferred, repackaged, or no longer bears its original label.
